OUR COMPANY ...Is based in Puerto Portals, located 9 Kms by motorway from the centre of Palma and 16 Kms from the airport. The nautical situation of the port is 39º 32´ North, 2º 35´ East. The harbour has a total capacity of 670 moorings with sizes ranging from 8 x 3 meters to 80 mts L.O.A. Since it´s inauguration in 1986, Puerto Portals has been setting the standard for other Mediterranean ports, leading the way with it´s provision of facilities for nautical activities, a wide range of sports and tourism. Puerto Portals has become a fine example of how such a modern, functional port should operate. Vitesse has built a successful reputation, based on offering a first class service to our clients. There is no doubt that throughout this time, the yacht charter industry has changed and grown, and is continuing to do so. In today's world, demands and expectations are high, from clients and owners, and rightly so. The industry is maturing.
Puerto Portals, Portals Nous' harbour and marina area, is a gourmets' delight. Though only 250 yards long, the promenade offers around 15 eating places, ranging from top-class fare at "Tristan", situated at the western-most point, to more informal burger meals. Most provide open-air eating where diners can enjoy Majorca's mild climate and admire the luxurious yachts in the marina just over the narrow road that runs beside the waterfront. | ||

Will has been involved in motor boats from a very young age, enjoying his parents boats in Poole from 8 years of age. From watching the original Cowes - Torquay- Cowes powerboats as a young lad eventually getting involved in Racing which spanned over a decade of top class UK and international racing. Eventually Will decided to slow down and became involved in corporate powerboat charter in the UK. After a while, and fed up with the constant rain, Will moved to Mallorca to join Vitesse Management team where his passion for boats became a full time career. Will's passion for boats extends to his passion to make chartering holidays a dream and to exceed his clients expectations.
Diane first became involved in motor yachts
after meeting William, and taking part in
corporate events in the Solent, UK. She then did
some crewing for Cowes Week, and became
hooked on boats! After having two children, she
continued working in the boating industry in the
UK at both Salterns and Hamworthy Marinas in
Poole, Dorset.
William and Diane, with their two girls,
relocated to the Mediterranean and bought a
share in Vitesse Yachts, and now enjoy a great
lifestyle in the sun. Diane heads up the accounts
department, runs front of house, and generally
keeps things running smoothly.
Tracey has with Vitesse from the very
beginning, 12 years ago. Heading up the Charter
Sales Department, her role is both demanding
and rewarding. Tracey enjoys enormously the
challenges presented, and takes great pleasure
in uniquely tailoring every charter to meet each
client’s needs.
Life in Mallorca sounds peaceful, however
with two young sons, and various works for local
charities, her life is very full and busy, but she
wouldn’t have it any other way!
David moved to Mallorca 3 years ago with
his wife, to continue his career somewhere
a little sunnier than Cornwall! David joined
Vitesse Yachts only this year, and with more
than 20 years marine engineering experience,
he brings to Vitesse Yachts his wealth of
product knowledge and experience with luxury
motor yachts. Heading up the Service Support
Department, his customer focussed approach
to work is a significant virtue!
David’s other passion is sports cars, and in
his spare time he’s regularly found in the garage
looking after his Morgan, although most of the
time it’s his wife who gets to drive it! With cars,
golf and waterskiing, there is rarely a spare
moment, which is just the way he likes it!
J-P began instructing in 1993 for Southern
Sailing School in the Solent, became a Yachtmaster
Instructor Sail in 1997, Yachtmaster Examiner Sail
in 2003, Advanced Powerboat Instructor in 2005,
Yachtmaster Instructor & Examiner Motor Cruiser
in 2008. He has lived in Mallorca for 3 years,
became the Vitesse Training chief instructor in
March 2008.
